Oil – gas separation filter element is the key component to determine the quality of compressed air discharged from oil injection screw compressor.
In the correct installation and use and good maintenance, can ensure the quality of compressed air and the service life of the filter element.
The air compressed from the head of the CHINAMFG carries oil droplets of different sizes. Large oil droplets are easy to be separated through the oil and gas separation tank, while small oil droplets (suspended form) must be filtered through the micron-grade glass fiber filter material of the oil and gas separation filter element.
Correct selection of fiber diameter and thickness is an important factor to ensure filtration effect.
After the oil mist is intercepted, diffused and polymerized by the filter material, small oil droplets will quickly polymerize into large oil droplets, which will pass through the filter layer under the action of pneumatic and gravity and settle at the bottom of the filter element.
The oil returns to the lubrication system through the inlet of the return pipe at the bottom of the filter element, so as to make the compressor discharge relatively pure and high quality compressed air.
